The Acupuncture Center in Hurst, Texas, is an upscale clinic in the center of the DFW Metropolis since 1985. The facility has nine private treatment rooms, two waiting areas, and one working area, along with a break room and three restrooms. Our staff includes three National Board Certified and Licensed Acupuncturists, five Registered Massage Therapists as well as medical assistants, and five administrators performing filing, billing, recording along with healthcare administration, insurance coordination. About Chung-Hwei Chernly LA.c. Chung-Hwei Chernly is a National Board Certified Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbologist (NCCAOM) in the USA, and also the first licensed Acupuncturist in Texas (AC00001). He has been well trained in both Western and Chinese Medicine. He was honored as the Outstanding Flight Surgeon, and the Outstanding Acupuncturist of the year of 1976 in Taiwan. He graduated from the National Defense Medical School in Taiwan and then graduated from the Taipei Acupuncture School. He retired as a captain and flight surgeon from the Chinese Air Force General Hospital in 1977. He taught physiology and conducted research at the National Yang-Ming Medical School in Taipei from 1977 to 1979. He came to Texas in 1979 and attended SW Medical School in San Antonio for postgraduate study from 1979 to 1981, and then was employed for four years in the pathology department at Pioneer Park Hospital in Irving, Texas, from 1982 to 1985. He has been practicing in his self-owned Acupuncture Center in the DFW area since 1985.

Hsiao-Lan Chung is a licensed acupuncturist in Texas State, Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine, diplomate of Oriental medicine as well as a board-certified practitioner of Chinese herbal medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). He has been trained by Dr. Chernly three years before he started practicing in Acupuncture Center in 2006.
Shirley Wang is an advanced degree graduate of Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medical College in 1984 and was the physician in charge at Central Hospital, Shanghai, China. After her association with the Shanghai Acupuncture Clinic in San Diego, California, Dr. Wang received National Board Certification in Acupuncture (NCCAOM) in 1996 and her Texas State acupuncture license in 1997. In addition to Dr. Wang's extensive herbology, oriental medicine and acupuncture experience, she has broad knowledge of Western Medicine and speak fluent Chinese and English.
