Acupuncture for WellnessAcupuncture Treatment + Therapy This ancient Chinese practice utilizes fine, disposable needles to access the meridian pathways to help restore the normal balance and flow of energy so organs and bodily systems can work together in harmony. After the needles are placed, there is a 15~20 minutes therapeutic time of deep relaxation resulting in relief, restored balance and a renewed outlook. A mild and painless electric current may be used to enhance the stimulation. After removal of the needles, 5~10 minutes therapeutic procedures will be applied to enhance the treatment. Acupuncture is used to treat a wide variety of disorders, and has been clinically proven by many distinguished researchers.

Myofacial Release Myofascial release is a specialized hands-on theraputic technique to improve the function of the joints, relieve pain and increase mobility. It includes:

Acupressure Massage
This can be combined with Swedish massage (long stroking technique), essential oils or myofascial release depending on what the patient needs.
Cupping Cupping is a practice in which a cup is applied to the skin and the pressure in the cup is reduced (by using change in heat or by suctioning out air), so that the skin and superficial muscle layer is drawn into and held in the cup. Cupping is great for muscle tension and spasm in the large open areas of the back where it is easiest to place the cup. Another excellent use of cups is for lung problems, especially coughing, bronchitis and asthma. The suction powerfully helps break up phlegm and congestion. Acupuncture for AddictionSmoking Cession Treatment Acupuncture has been proven to be extremely effective in overcoming addictions. During your 35-40 minute treatment sessions, several very fine, disposable needles are placed on points of the ears, face, or arms. These points stimulate the respiratory system to cleanse the lungs of nicotine, and thus the patients will have less desire to smoke after the treatment. A mild and painless electric stimulation is sent through the needles as the patient relaxes. Many people experience a greatly diminished desire for nicotine, clearer sinuses, and ability to breathe deeper.
Press pins are also placed on the ear for continued stimulation. Required number of treatment for total abstinence depends on your addiction, but 5 treatments usually prove to be sufficient.

Not only does this decrease cravings for your addiction, it also eases or eliminates withdrawal symptoms, lessens tension, boosts energy, and helps you relax and quiet your mind.

Acupuncture for Weight LossWeight Loss Program Several very fine, disposable needles will be placed in the ears and abdominal area during each of the 35-40 minute treatment sessions. These points help stimulate your metabolism and suppress your cravings. Press pins are placed in your ears for continued suppression of cravings and hunger. Herbs based solely on your medical background and body type encourage your physical fitness, activate your metabolism to burn fat, clean your colon or decrease your appetite. The amount of weight loss depends on your metabolism, diet, lifestyle and how much weight you need to remove. Your weight loss will maintain itself after your treatments if you continue to maintain healthy eating habits. Your metabolism will be “restarted” after this program, but you must eat regular, nutritionally balanced meals that are low in fat and sugar. Do not go to either extreme, just eat sensibly and most of all regularly, and your weight will stay off.
Ear Staple The ear staple for weight control is placed on the fine pressure points in the ear that are thought to be a link to the appetite and metabolism. By placing pressure (ear staple) on these points the appetite is suppressed therefore decreasing the desire for food and subsequently the amount of food intake. The metabolism is also believed to increase which allows the body to burn food faster.
The amount of weight loss is based on each individual’s ability to burn body fat with the assistance of the ear staple. There is no set amount of weight loss and there is no guarantee of any weight loss. The ear staple is very small with little visibility and is made with surgical stainless steel, therefore decreasing the possibility of allergens.

Your Needs First Before the session, your therapist will ask about your goal of the massage and your preference of pressure. Depending on your specific needs or requests, your massage therapist will either perform a customized full-body massage (for general relaxation and stress reduction) or focus on the specific parts of your body that you have requested.
During the massage, you would be draped appropriately with sheets or towel on the massage table. Please advise your therapist if, at any time during the session, a technique or stroke they are using is uncomfortable. Once your massage therapy session is completed, your therapist will leave the room so you may re-dress. Each massage therapy sessions may include a 5 minute pre-interview, 25 / 50 / 80 minutes of hands-on time and 5 minutes at the end for you to re-dress. Body CareEar Candle This is a painless way to remove earwax. Ear candles are made of fabric and wax. The ear candles flame creates a vacuum, which pulls the wax out of the ear into the ear candle.
